"Sustainability at the Crossroads," the Adnkronos Q&A event on October 16th

Government, European institutions, and businesses face off: from energy to transportation and automotive, from the recycling industry to the circular economy.
Balancing environmental and social sustainability with economic development, building a better future without compromising the present. With targeted solutions across all sectors that also ensure the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry: from energy to transportation and automotive, from the recycling industry to the circular economy. These are the themes of the new Adnkronos Q&A, "Sustainability at the Crossroads," scheduled for Thursday, October 16 , at the Palazzo dell'Informazione.
Moderated by the agency's deputy directors Fabio Insenga and Giorgio Rutelli, the event will focus on economic policy choices in Italy and Europe, with the presence of government officials - expected among others, speeches by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini , the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto Fratin , and the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso - as well as representatives of European institutions.
Top managers and academics will discuss three thematic panels. "Mobility, a truly sustainable approach" : the challenge concerns all sectors, both for people and goods, including rail, maritime, and automotive transport. "Circular economy, sustainability that drives growth" : Italy boasts record-breaking results in the circular economy, becoming a model of excellence in several sectors. "Businesses, sustainability in their core business" : despite the uncertain context, they continue to invest in sustainability across all sectors.
The results of a survey conducted from mid-August to the end of September on the Adnkronos website and social media channels will be presented. The survey captures users' perceptions of the Green Deal, the energy transition, the spread of electric cars, and corporate communications on sustainability.
